Richard Campo
Previously, Richard held the position of Manager of Real Estate Investments at Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT), a prominent U.S. multifamily REIT. In this role, he distinguished himself as a leader in market analytics across all of Camden’s markets and was heavily involved in the identification and execution of acquisition, development, and disposition opportunities in the central and western regions. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in transactions totaling $2 billion in acquisitions across Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee and Camden's buyout of their fund with TRS, development projects valued at $1 billion in Arizona, Texas, Colorado, and Tennessee, and dispositions amounting to $1 billion. Prior to joining Camden, Richard served as an associate in the Investment Banking Group at US Capital Advisors and as an analyst in JP Morgan’s (NYSE: JPM) Real Estate Capital Markets Group. He is actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors, including serving on the board of Dress for Success Houston and acting as a Community Ambassador for the Movember Foundation. Additionally, Richard contributes his expertise to the Dean’s Council of Excellence for the College of Business at Oregon State University. Past affiliations include serving on the Board of Avenue CDC, participating in the Leadership Council for UNCF, and being a member of the Rising Leaders Group at the Houston Parks Board.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Administration from Oregon State University, as well as an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate from the University of Houston.
